The company Christian Oswald Import-Export GmbH was founded in 1975 as a Limited Partnership (KG). Already in 1955 the retail trade had begun with local game meat.
In the past decades the company’s founder has built up a worldwide branched distribution network, which deals mainly with the wholesale and the production of animal and plant derived natural products.
Since 2003 the family-owned company is continued by Astrid and Christoph Brenninger in second generation.
We at Christian Oswald GmbH consider it an ethic principle that the production of animal products is restricted to species which are not classified on the Red List of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES). The relevant certificates can be presented on request.
